NEFT (National Electronic Funds Transfer) :-

NEFT (National Electronic Funds Transfer) एक Nation-wide Electronic Payment System है, जिसकी मदद से एक Bank Account से दूसरे Bank Account में electronically Money Transfer किया जा सकता है।

NEFT service को RBI (Reserve Bank of India) द्वारा November 2005 में शुरू किया गया था।

NEFT में कई fund transfer transactions को एक Batch में group किया जाता है और transactions को Batch-wise process किया जाता है।

पहले NEFT service केवल कुछ निश्चित banking hours में available थी, लेकिन 16 December 2019 से NEFT को 24×7 उपलब्ध कराया गया। इसका मतलब है कि NEFT के माध्यम से fund transfer की सुविधा पूरे दिन और पूरे सप्ताह उपलब्ध रहती है।

NEFT के माध्यम से transfer की जाने वाली राशि पर RBI द्वारा कोई minimum या maximum amount limit निर्धारित नहीं की गई है। हालांकि, संबंधित bank अपने customers के लिए transaction limits निर्धारित कर सकता है।

How to Transfer Money through NEFT

NEFT के माध्यम से money transfer करने के लिए customer अपने Internet Banking या Mobile Banking में login कर सकता है।

इसके बाद सामान्यतः निम्नलिखित details की आवश्यकता होती है:-

Name of Beneficiary – जिस व्यक्ति को पैसे भेजने हैं उसका नाम।

Account Number – Beneficiary का Bank Account Number।

IFSC Code – Beneficiary Bank Branch का IFSC Code।

Amount – Transfer की जाने वाली राशि।

Details भरने और आवश्यक authentication पूरा करने के बाद fund transfer request submit की जाती है।

NEFT (National Electronic Funds Transfer) is a Nation-wide Electronic Payment System that allows money to be transferred electronically from one Bank Account to another Bank Account.

The NEFT service was introduced by the RBI (Reserve Bank of India) in November 2005.

In NEFT, multiple fund transfer transactions are grouped into a Batch, and the transactions are processed Batch-wise.

Earlier, NEFT was available only during certain banking hours. However, from 16 December 2019, NEFT has been available 24×7, allowing fund transfers throughout the day and week.

There is no minimum or maximum amount limit prescribed by RBI for NEFT transfers. However, individual banks may set transaction limits for their customers.

How to Transfer Money through NEFT

To transfer money through NEFT, a customer can log in to Internet Banking or Mobile Banking.

The following details are generally required:-

Name of Beneficiary – Name of the person who will receive the money.

Account Number – Bank Account Number of the beneficiary.

IFSC Code – IFSC Code of the beneficiary's bank branch.

Amount – Amount to be transferred.

After entering the details and completing the required authentication, the fund transfer request can be submitted.
