Input/Output Symbol (इनपुट/आउटपुट सिंबल) :-

Input/Output (I/O) Symbol का उपयोग फ्लोचार्ट में डेटा को इनपुट (Input) करने तथा परिणाम (Output) प्रदर्शित करने के लिए किया जाता है। जब भी उपयोगकर्ता (User) से कोई डेटा लिया जाता है या स्क्रीन, प्रिंटर अथवा किसी अन्य आउटपुट डिवाइस पर परिणाम दिखाया जाता है, तब Input/Output Symbol का प्रयोग किया जाता है।

इसका आकार समांतर चतुर्भुज (Parallelogram) होता है।

The Input/Output (I/O) Symbol is used in a flowchart to represent data input and data output operations. It is used whenever data is entered by the user or results are displayed on the screen, printer, or another output device.

Its shape is a Parallelogram.

Rules (महत्वपूर्ण नियम) :-

• Input/Output Symbol का आकार हमेशा समांतर चतुर्भुज (Parallelogram) होता है। / The Input/Output Symbol is always drawn as a Parallelogram.
• इसका उपयोग डेटा इनपुट (Input) तथा डेटा आउटपुट (Output) को दर्शाने के लिए किया जाता है। / It is used to represent data input and data output operations.
• इसमें कोई गणना (Calculation) या प्रोसेसिंग (Processing) नहीं की जाती। / No calculation or processing is performed in this symbol.
• सामान्यतः इसमें एक Flow Line प्रवेश करती है और एक Flow Line बाहर जाती है। / Normally, one flow line enters and one flow line leaves the Input/Output Symbol.
• Input के लिए इसमें डेटा पढ़ने (Read/Input) का कार्य लिखा जाता है। / For input, it contains data reading operations.
• Output के लिए इसमें परिणाम प्रदर्शित (Display/Print Output) करने का कार्य लिखा जाता है। / For output, it contains display or print operations.
• Input/Output Symbol केवल डेटा के आदान-प्रदान (Data Transfer) को दर्शाता है। / The Input/Output Symbol only represents data transfer.
• इसमें निर्देश स्पष्ट और संक्षिप्त (Short and Meaningful) होने चाहिए। / The instructions inside the symbol should be clear, short, and meaningful.
