Need for Functions (Functions
Main Needs of Functions
1. Code Reusability (कोड का पुनः उपयोग)
def message():
print("Learn Python")
message()
message()
Output:
Learn Python
Learn Python
2. Avoid Code Repetition (कोड दोहराने से बचना) -
3. Divide a Large Program
4. Easy Testing and Debugging
5. Improve Readability (पठनीयता बढ़ाना)
6. Reduce Program Complexity (जटिलता कम करना)
IN ENGLISH-
# **Need for Functions :-**
Functions are needed in Python because the same task may need to be performed multiple times in large programs. Functions make programs organized, simple, and reusable.
### Main Needs of Functions
1. Code Reusability -
A function written once can be called multiple times.
def message():
print("Learn Python")
message()
message()
**Output:**
Learn Python
Learn Python
2. Avoid Code Repetition -
If the same statements need to be written repeatedly for a particular task, they can be placed inside a function.
3. Divide a Large Program -
Dividing a large program into smaller functions makes it easier to understand.
Example: A Student Management System may have separate functions:
add_student()
display_student()
search_student()
delete_student()
4. Easy Testing and Debugging -
If an error occurs in a function, it is easier to test and correct that function separately.
5. Improve Readability -
Meaningful function names help us understand what a function does.
6. Reduce Program Complexity -
Dividing a large program into smaller logical blocks reduces program complexity and makes the code easier to manage.
